THE BAR PICCINO STORY
Our cocktail Bar and lounge - Bar Piccino - is the newest addition to the Piccino family and is politely nestled next to the main Piccino restaurant on Minnesota Street.
Its arrival has been much anticipated, as we began to envision it back in 2018, when we were able to purchase a full liquor license for the Piccino restaurant. During the time it took to design and prepare the space, the pandemic hit, bringing everything to a distressing halt. Plans changed, and time flew by…Fast forward to August 2022, and we finally opened our beloved Bar Piccino in a beautifully converted space.
The inspiration is the same as the one for the restaurant: flavors that reflect the seasons, with a backbone of marvelous spirits that are the result of decades (or millennia in some cases!) of spirit craftmanship. Bar Piccino also offers a delightful menu of small bites & pizzas that complement changing cocktail offerings!
Our vision for Bar Piccino is one where said craftmanship leads and shines. Spirits—such as Mezcal—are extraordinary for the care, time, and painstaking methods of preparation. The drinks, as they are ultimately presented in the glass, are harmonized with herbs, fruit, and botanicals that highlight balanced flavor profiles and visual appeal… after all, we eat and drink with our eyes first!
